random thoughts....

Why do so many people believe that second chances are not worth it? That once someone screws up they never will change… No one is perfect... We all make mistakes. If we never gave people a second chance then everyone would be by themselves, hate each other, and the world would be even more of a mess than it is now. Some things to think about: … Some one talks about you? So what like you never said something about another person…? Exactly. You never lied? Everyone has, get over it. Cheat? Well, in most cases a lot of people don’t but like I said with second chances – what if that person was the one... But made a mistake and knew they were wrong. If someone knows they are wrong then in most cases they are not going to make that mistake… If you are true to yourself and have values then you will not make the same mistake twice. In life people are going to let you down, not everyone but at least one person will…

What if there is someone out there (which I am sure there is) that is always being let down, lied to, cheated on, or talked about? Maybe it is the dirty kid in your class, maybe it’s the geek in your class, and maybe it’s “know it all,” conceited person, the bully or … Maybe it’s the not so intelligent kid... Help them out... Everyone deserves to learn, some just can’t do it as quickly as others… Maybe there are reasons for their personality style... As for the dirty kid, he/she can’t help it… Be their friend, it would make a world of difference to them. Maybe they were let down so many times that they turned into the “know it all” because they were left out for not knowing something... Or what if they are the bully because they have had to fight with people their whole life…

People today judge so quickly – take a minute to find out why someone is not smiling when they should be, or why someone is acting out in different ways towards you or those around you before you judge them. Get to know those around you! Everyone deserves a friend and a second chance. What if you were that person that messed up, knew it … Changed completely – but you screwed up one time, just one time. So you are out of that person’s life forever… What if you didn’t get a second chance? This is really just me sitting at my desk thinking and writing as thoughts come to my mind... It might not make much sense... I don’t care – I just want everyone to think for a minute where they are in their life and those they shut out because of mistakes and put your self in their shoes. Forgiveness is really what people to need to do- in any case. I know that in our country forgiveness is something we don’t hear of too often… We have been in war for how many years now… It’s sad – people are losing their lives for us selfish people over here.
